Amazing, awesome game. Really the kind you hope to get out of a tournament like this. As I said on my blog, it's a crying shame it wasn't on obs mode because watching a vid file just isn't the same. Obs mode, I can sit a non-GW friend down and walk them through what's happening and why it's important. A vid file, it's just one massive scrum and hard to make out why people are or aren't dying, say. It's the kind of game that could be used as a selling point, in other words, but it doesn't work as well without that interactivity.
Oh well, hopefully we'll get some games of this caliber out of the elimination rounds. Because if those aren't on obs mode it's pitchfork and torches time again.
It's true that in a video you have much less control - but you do get rewind, forward and pause, which are all huge wins.
I'd really like to be able to save the obs record as a Quake-style demo but I guess that's not going to happen. The impl would probably be pretty fiddly.
